HOUSE DESCRIPTION
this house was built in 1914 and it was one of the first distilleries in Mallorca. In fact the warehouse can still be seen today as it has been exceptionally well maintained over the years and has recently been restored.
The building has been refurbished in keeping with a typical Mallorcan style town house and much of the original features have been conserved or reproduced in line with the original building using where possible local materials.

The outside area has a good sized swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden with its own shower cum cloak room. Furthermore, there is a substantial porch with high quality garden furniture and a specially designed facility to hold barbeques.

Llubí is a quiet and unspoilt village which has all the usual shops and bars and is near several beaches including Alcudia and C’an Picafort. However, one of the main advantages of its location, is that it has a train station which is on the Palma – Sa Pobla railway and only takes 30 minutes to the capital. Llubí is also very accessible by car as it is conveniently located near to the main road which runs from Palma to Inca.

Every year the village celebrates several “fiesta’s” or festivals and one of these is the “Fira de la mel”. Literally translated, this means “honey fare” and it is an excellent opportunity to savour some of the more exotic and perfumed honeys which are produced across the Balearic islands. This Fare takes place in November though if you happen to be in Llubí at the end of July you will be enjoying the “Sant Feliu”
Fiestas, it runs during that week and it has plenty of varied activities to offer.

In addition for those history lovers you will have the opportunity to visit a prehistoric site “ Es Racons” that is just outside Llubí as you head towards the famous market town of Sineu , this forming part of the mallorcan” Talaiotic” heritage.
