Pollensa is located between two small-sized mountains,
which gives the landscape a very special personality.
These two elevations are named Puid de Pollensa and Puig
del Calvari. The latter is accessible along 365 steps to
the summit, one for every day of the year.
There is an important cultural offer in Pollensa.

At the exit of the village in direction of the port is
preserved a two-arch Roiman bridgem unique in Majorca.
One of teh most deeply rooted popular traditions in

the Muslim invaders. Each year, on the day of Mare de
Deu dels Àngels, a re-enactment of a great battle takes
place: a very convincing exchange of pistol shots and
canono shots in a bery gestive mood. It is one of the
most popular fiestas og the island and ebery year
thousands of people gather to participate.
Hust about give km away is the Port of Pollensa, an

Real Club Nautic de Pollensa, one of the most requested
on the island due to its excellent nautical
characteristics, has become the very best social meeting
place. The road along the coast reaches Formentor: an
idyllic place formed by spectacular cliffs which end on
the border line of the mountain range know as "Serra de
Tramuntana". The sight from teh road and very especially
