:::: Portocolom ::::
Portocolom is one of the largest ports of the eastern coast of Majorca and belongs to the municipality of Felanitx. In fact it is the favourite summer destination of the local people. During many years, especially at the beginning of the 20th century, the port had a lot of traffic as many merchant ships due for the ports of France set sails from its docks. Today this commercial activity has disappeared and the port’s main users are the local people with their “llauts” (traditional fishing boats), it still has this genuine marine atmosphere of older days.
