Puigpunyent is a small rural municipality on the Serra
de Tramuntana (mountain range) neighbouring Palma that
hasn't been influenced by the large city and has
preserved a traditional spirit. The town's main
attraction is a stroll through its enchanting streets
that bring nostalgic memories to mind. Also interesting
are the possibilities of excursions in the surroundings
of the village. The "Puig de Galatzó" (mountain) is
impressive and has no vegetation at all. It is the most
beautiful sight of the landscape. The necropolis of "Casal
Nou" is a testimony of the prehistoris times and the
talaionica culture. |
